We would like to welcome world champion Alex Mason. This kid is a super star winning competitions around the world with his unique athleticism, flipping and spinning his way into history.
He won his first World Championship at the age of just 16 in Vail Colorado with a massive crowd cheering him on. No one this young has ever won a world championship in slacklining, Alex has many so years ahead of him. His has been given the nickname of 'the machine' due to his consistent ability to land big tricks under pressure. Alex was the youngest person to ever land a slackline backflip at just 13 years old.
He created the Mason Flip (“I didn’t name it,” he says) – a front flip 360 – as well as a slew of other technically challenging tricks. “What I do is scary, but it’s just short bursts of being terrified,” he says. “At some point, you just have to huck it and pray.”
We welcome to the Arête Core athlete team Alex Mason.
